Obama For The Win!

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

With the polls closed across the country, all the news sources are now calling the election for Obama. All he needs at this point is California, Washington, and Oregon — all states he’s way ahead in. There would need to be an unprecedented upset on the west coast at this point. He’s leading in Colorado and they’re actually calling Virgina for Obama now, which is just amazing.

Thank you, America. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I’m staying up to hear him speak.

Live-Blogging the US Election

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

All signs currently point to Obama taking Ohio, which is a major victory. CNN and MSNBC have both called it for him, and I’m cautiously optimistic about it. Virginia and North Carolina are way too close to call, which in itself is just awesome. The CNN website is calling New Mexico for Obama, but I’m not sure about that one. Colorado looks pretty good, though.

Mostly I’m floored by the fact that there are precincts reporting over 80% voter turnout, which is just astounding.
